Hello : ) My name is Gemini Brookes and I am a fine artist. I live in Great Shefford, Hungerford, Berkshire (UK). I am originally from Salisbury, Wiltshire and am a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) graduate of the prestigious Winchester School of Art. After graduating, I started up my own studio in Salisbury and worked as a freelance artist. Clients included Amoena UK, the Salisbury Museum and Sarah Gibb. I also produced privately commissioned artwork.
My art career got put on hold for a bit when I decided to embark on my nursing career in 2014. After completing another 3 year degree and working full-time as a Registered Nurse for another 3 years, which involved a move to High Wycombe; in 2020 I became exhausted and needed a rest from nursing! I landed myself a full-time art job working for Nutwell Logistics where I was employed solely to create artwork for them, from my home studio in High Wycombe. In January 2021, I decided to launch myself back into working for myself as an artist; and here I am! : ) (I also still do work the odd nursing shift!)
Mission
My mission is to deliver beautiful art to your door! My aim is to give people high quality art that they truly want for their homes, at affordable prices whilst also being eco-conscious.
As many of my art materials and packaging as is possible are eco-friendly and by that I mean non-toxic, environmentally friendly and/or recycled. My art is also high quality and being a fine art graduate, you can rest assured that all of my work is of top archival quality with original pieces made to last 100+ years. Buying art is a luxury, and therefore I want you to know that your money is invested wisely : )
